María Apolinaria was born in 1795.  María Apolinaria's father was José Frías Suárez de Cantillana and her mother is Casilda Araujo y Borja Ibañez del Castillo.  Her paternal grandfather was José Frías Alfaro and her paternal grandmother is Maria Josefa Suárez de Cantillana. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Pedro José, Manuel, José Benigno, Felipe, Félix Ignacio, Francisco Javier, José, Maria Bernarda and Petrona Ignacia.  She was the nineth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 85 in 1880.
