Domingo Enrique was born in 1864.  Domingo Enrique's father was Facundo Frías Iramían and his mother was Carolina Helguera Garmendia.  His paternal grandfather was Francisco Javier Frías Araujo and his paternal grandmother is Jenuaria Iramían Diaz Gallo. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Facundo, Carlos Enrique, Jorge, Jorge A., Juan Carlos, Alberto, Carolina, Amalia, Amalia and Rosa.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
