Miguel Alfredo Estanislao was born in 1892.  Miguel Alfredo Estanislao's father was Estanislao Frías Piñeyro and his mother was Petrona María Piñeyro Ruiz Huidobro.  His paternal grandparents were Estanislao Frías Molina and Eloisa Piñeyro García. He had a brother and three sisters, named Raúl Estanislao, Sofía Eloísa, María Margarita and María Adela.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
